Dr. Shannon Palmer

I grew up with a vet for a mom who took me to work with her and read me James Harriot stories at bedtime, so becoming a veterinarian “runs in the blood” so to speak. I studied agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan followed by my veterinary degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2018.

I have a special passion for health at the human-animal interface and educating people on minimizing the risk of disease transmission between people and animals.

I love working at ANVC for the wonderful clients and fun and supportive staff. The different passions of different doctors makes it a fantastic place to learn from each other.

A fun fact about me is that I love to dance!
